“MIRA is pleased to announce that we will once again hold our 40-Hour Immigration Law Training this September, to be hosted by WeWork. This training is open only to non-profit staff seeking accreditation and attorneys, and follows a curriculum designed by the Immigrant Legal Resource Center to give practitioners the basic knowledge they need to serve the community. The training will feature legal experts in various aspects of immigration law from both non-profit organizations and the private bar.

Participants will be required to separately purchase the ILRC’s A Guide for Immigration Advocates. Upon registration, participants will receive a code in order to purchase this text at a discounted price. We strongly recommend that you purchase the text immediately after receive the code, as it can up to 2 weeks for the text to be delivered.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day.

The course costs $500, plus the textbook, or $250 plus the textbook for MIRA organizational members. A limited number of scholarships are available.
